Load capacity
Every Display Plinth is rated for a centred load of up to 200 lb on the 16 inch top, with capacity scaling relative to top size. Construction is a seamless MDF core with a Benjamin Moore Scuff-X cabinet-grade finish, which is what gives the rating its consistency across a wide size range rather than varying piece to piece.
Centred is the operative word. The rating assumes weight distributed near the middle of the top. An object placed near an edge, or a heavier piece paired with a narrower top than it really needs, is a different situation than the rating covers, so match the top size to the object rather than treating the rating as a flat ceiling regardless of placement.
Custom colors
Standard finish options are matte white and matte black, both included in every size and height combination at the listed price. Custom colours are available beyond those two, handled as a quote rather than a fixed price, since cost depends on the colour and finish requested.
To request one, email hello@plinthsupply.com with the colour or reference you have in mind. This is the same process used for non-standard dimensions, so a custom colour and a custom size can be quoted together in one request.

Lead times and shipping
Every plinth is made to order, so production happens after the order is placed rather than pulled from stock. Standard lead time is 10 business days from our Toronto workshop. If you have a fixed date, whether that's an install, an event, or a shoot, flag it before ordering. Rush production may be available for an additional fee, but this needs to be confirmed ahead of time rather than assumed.
Shipping runs across Canada and the US, calculated at checkout based on size and destination. Local pickup in Toronto is available by arrangement. Every plinth arrives fully finished, in protective packaging, with no assembly required.
